Although its natural beauty contrasts the power of this drum, Gretsch's 6.5x14″ 9-ply Rosewood shell contains a very wide range of warm, complex, yet open dynamics. Whether you're performing with an orchestra, jazz band, or large ensemble, Gretsch Rosewood snares will seamlessly complement each musical endeavor. Rosewood has its own natural complex grain pattern and we highlighted this feature by applying a clear high-gloss finish to the shell. The snare also features 30-degree bearing edges, die-cast hoops, 'Silver Sealer' interiors, and an adjustable throw-off.
